Hello!
It’s been a little while since we last posted, we’ve been extremely busy here at Cabin Creek. We finally finished our half-hour High School Musical documentary and sent it away to Disney to prep for its premiere on January 20th, 2008 on the Disney Channel. Right now, our series of two-minute vignettes about two high schools in Fort Worth, Texas putting on a theatrical version of the Disney sensation High School Musical are airing on the Disney Channel on Saturdays at 7:55 PM EST. Keep an eye out for those, and be sure to check back in with us because we’ll be adding a new page dedicated to the High School Music – The Music In You very soon. In the meantime, check out a couple of clips over at the Disney page.
We’re also wrapping up our hour-long documentary – The Mildred Muhammad Story – about the wife of DC Sniper John Allen Muhammad. There’s no set date for its premiere, but keep checking in with us, we’ll let you know as soon as we find out the details.
Finally, we recently found out some exciting news: on December 8, the American College of Neuropsychopharmacology (trying saying that even one time fast!) awarded the Addiction Project its 2007American College of Neuropsychopharmacology Media Award. As some of you probably already know, we made a ten-minute film as part of HBO’s Addiction Project, which you can check out a clip of here on our site. We’re extremely honored to have been a part of such a forward-thinking, concerned project, and we hope that the film helped some learn about addiction – we certainly learned a lot in the process of making the film.
Thanks for reading, keep the comments coming, we look forward to hearing from you about anything and everything!
